I started birth control about a month and a half ago when I moved in with my boyfriend and previously we’ve never had an issue having sex and I had never gotten a uti. However within a week of starting it I got a uti, a yeast infection and then another uti, and now it’s been a week since my last one and every single time we’ve tried to have sex since going on birth control it’s hurt so bad I’m nearly in tears by the end of it. Could the birth control itself be the cause of it or is it just coincidence?
