I just agreed with my other half that I'm going to stop birth control today. It's making me crazy on my period week. Anyways I took the first active pill last night so when I dont take the next one tonight will it cause my period to last a little longer or will it stop like it is supposed to? Edit to answer
Yes. I started a new pack last night but I've been taking it for 7 months this month would be month 8. And it's making me crazy like ruining my relationship. So I decided to talk to him about it and we agreed I'd just quit them and go on with life normally

Since you updated your post, if you stop right now you'll likely experience some irregular bleeding between now and when you next expect your period. Could be just some spotting, or it could be a full on "period". Your body is expecting hormones to be there, especially since you started the new pack so it's going to be freaking out from the lack of hormones. It's not recommended to stop once you start a pack unless you're experiencing life threatening symptoms for this reason. And you should be talking to your doctor, especially about the side effects you've been experiencing. It may be that something else is going on, unrelated to the birth control.
