4 y/o put under?

Has anyone had their toddler or preschooler put under for surgery or dental work? My little girl is having two teeth pulled and some caps put on and I've never been put under and she hasn't ever either and I'm just freaked out it'll be about a 4 hour procedure and I'm far more nervous than she is and trying hard to keep my cool infront of her.

My daughter had to for dental work. I was a mess but everything was fine. She woke up groggy and a little loopy, but by the time we left the center she was fine. Everything will be okay! Try not to stress.

My youngest my son has been put under quite a few times for being 6. 2 times by two. One for a camera put in belly one for a penis scrapping. Then at 5 for tonsils. He had to have to caps this year. He is 6. I had them just sedate him. Not fully under. Thank goodness every time things were perfect.

My 3 tear old had to be for a tooth to be pulled (it was deformed when it popped up and became infected). It sucked! She fought the initial total drug to make her sleepy then got super loopy and peed on my husband which wasn't bad because she was so relaxed. Afterwards she slept for an extra hour which at least a half hour is recommended so they don't wake up freaked out, crying and screaming. She refused to let me take the wrist bandage off from where her IV was and refused to let me take off the sticky pads where the heart monitor thing goes. If I had known I would have removed it in the hospital when she was still asleep. She needed lots of cuddles and just seemed worn down for a bit. She also refused to cough the Anaesthesia out of her lungs. She sounded very raspy and honestly like she had a really bad cold for 2-3 days. Its important they cough it up because it can cause pneumonia. She still has some of the sticky residue from the heart monitor pads on get chest that she won't let me get rid of. She was playing and acted fine even a couple hours after the surgery. The reminders (wrist thing, heart pads, residue) are what made her act different. As soon as they were gone (literally the second we took the pads off in the shower) she did a 180 and wasn't so emotional. She was very up and down emotionally for a couple of days.  She also had a night terror which is common after anesthesia but is very temporary.

My then five year old was put under for tubes in her ears. She went under just fine but she came out like a mean drunk lol.
