Have you ever bought a car with a salvage title?

I am having trouble on whether or not to buy this beautiful car that’s cheap because of its salvage title and I want to hear other opinions please

My dad had a salvage title a long time ago for a work car and it worked great. But you have to check why it’s salvage. If it was flood or fire etc then I wouldn’t do it.

Insurance is not fond of salvage titles. Just keep that in mind as well.

I would never buy one. I know that sometimes they can fix the car to look really good after it was flooded/on fire/even after a big wreck but once you start driving it, all the different things will go bad! 
I didn't even looked at those cars, better not to risk it and to get a car with a blue title or the one that was never in an accident.

I work in the automotive industry and I remember a car came thru wanting warranty work done but little did the person know the vehicle had a salvage title. I wouldn’t invest money into a car just bc it looks beautiful. Car repairs can be expensive!
