Stitches?

Anyone else's stitches dissolving already? I'll be 3 weeks pp on Thursday and I'm noticing that my stitches are turning brown and coming out in small pieces. They itched so bad last week! Had a 2nd degree tear. Seems early... I have my pp appt in a couple weeks. (They're having me come back 5 wks pp dunno why) Thoughts? Experiences?

You should be fine! They come out on their own some come out at 2 weeks

I’m 3 weeks 3 says post partum and my stitches dissolved about a week ago. So much more comfortable than when they were tight and pulling.

I'm 16 days post partum I just lost a stitch today. My o.b didn't say how long they should be in so I'm hoping its normal.

I believe I am dealing with the same thing. I'm a little over 2 weeks postpartum and notice the same thing. The itching is unbearable at times though. What did you do for your itching?
