Any tips?!

Question

Hey ladies! So my man is on deployment, and I feel like we are having a tough time coming up with new things to talk about! We can only email and get to send an email about once a day. We have gone through a billion fun questions, but we’ve gone through them so much! Any suggestions?! This is our first deployment, and are a few months in with some more to go!

Talk about each other’s day. Things coming up. Goals you have for yourself for the following year and what his are. Plans for when he comes home. Things you want to accomplish together within the next few years. Future vacations you’d like to take together/what activities you’d want to do at the location. 
With long deployments, you’ll go through phases of “dryness” where you run out of things to say or you get “bored” because it’s almost a routine of talking daily about things you’d normally just bring up in conversation randomly throughout the day in person condensed into one tiny email, so it does get hard. Don’t take it personally. When that happens, just try your best to bring up something he/you can really engage in, like a hobby he’s passionate about and talk about for hours. (My husband’s is cars and real estate).
