Am I alone here?

I love when my toddler wants to come sleep in our bed. I travel for work and have a long commute when I am working on the office. Some, who am I kidding, MOST weekdays I’m lucky to spend 45-90 minutes with her.

Don’t get me wrong, we do what’s best for her development. We always start bedtime routine with her going to bed in her own room and bed but I truly look forward to the nights when she wakes up and wants to snuggle with us. Hey get to inhale her, ya know? I see all of these posts and articles about getting toddlers out of the bed and I just can’t relate. When she sleeps through the night in her bed I’m happy for her but secretly bummed. I don’t want to be a SAHM or anything I just feel like she’s growing up so fast and I value her independence but miss the baby stage. Am I alone here? We start potty training soon and man I feel like she’s growing up so fast.
