Update: took another test as soon as i woke up, and it’s still positive. i’m trying to get into an OBGyn today

Saturday afternoon, my period was three days late and i had noticed spotting the sunday before, so i decided to take some tests. I took three on Saturday, and while faint, they were all positive. I spotted slightly that night, and then went into bad cramps and spent all day sunday in discomfort and what i could have sworn was my period. I took another test Sunday morning before the cramping and heavy bleeding began, and it was fainter but still positive.

My question is, is this an early miscarriage or my period? Theres a lot of bleeding and discomfort, but my periods are like that anyway it’s hard for me to distinguish between them. It’s now early wednesday morning and the bleeding seems to have stopped (or lessened a lot), but my periods are usually seven days. its only been 3? Tuesday i bled, but i wasn’t in pain.

any advice or ideas is welcome. My local clinic said i could go to the ER, but all they could do was test for pregnancy. i’ll take another test once the bleeding has fully stopped, unless anyone thinks i could take it now or should see someone.
