More likely to mc after d&c if you don’t wait to start trying again?

So my close friends mom is a midwife. Well she told me that I need to wait at least a year after having my d&c other wise I’ll miscarry again. Was this true for you? 
She also said that it could have been why we lost another baby this year as I had a d&c last July and miscarried in June of this year. 
Tips for rebuilding uterine lining? Thanks in advance ladies

You don’t need to wait a year, but most doctors will recommend letting your body go through one cycle and then starting to try again

I had to have two separate d&c procedures (they did not get everything with the first). The second procedure was April 8 of this year, had two regular periods and conceived the second cycle. Currently 9.2 weeks and had my first ultrasound yesterday. The nurse told me everything looks great. 
I was super concerned about having two d&c procedures and that affecting my fertility, the nurses and my OB assured me that it would not affect me negatively at all, if anything it would make me more fertile. I have a close friend who also had a d&c last year, got pregnant her second cycle with twins and they are beautiful and healthy. Someone definitely gave you some misinformation. Hope you can feel more at ease.

Ummm what ! Sounds like she needs to go back to midwife school. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I had a dc 5 days ago. My private obstetrician in Australia. Said I can start trying ASAP. As soon as I’m ready. Your chances of miscarriage are no different to mine or anyone else’s. 25% of people miscarriage. 1 in 4 pregnancy’s are miscarriage! Having a miscarriage doesn’t make you any more or less likely to have another x
