I took all my children to the playground the other day. I go to a pretty popular one, always busy. I sat and watched them play for awhile, this lady was sitting in the grass with her dog for a good minute than this tall man approached her from somewhere and they were talking she than made her way to the playground area standing there for a good minute with her dog the man than walks to her again they talk he walks off. As she is standing there she gets rushed by like 10 children asking to pet her dog and they are all awwwwing over it and following her and her dog around, no parents around they are all off to sides talking or on their phones. I was completely shocked at how easy it is still for children to just follow a complete stranger around with a dog. That terrified me. None of my kids ran up thank goodness but you best believe we left the playground having a discussion about strangers and dogs or puppies or cats or candy. Come to find out about 30 min later she had a little boy playing there and that was her husband. But still... you never know.
