How much do you tip when you get your nails done?

Just wondering because I usually leave $5 when it’s just my nails and $10 if it’s my feet and nails
I don’t leave a percentage of the price because nails have gotten to be so expensive. My fills use to be $20 top now I pay $45+ just for a fill

A percentage of what I'm charged. However, it also depends on the experience. I always tip, dont get me wrong. But I've left 30% tips before just based on experience.

Totally depends on the service. I usually tip 20%, but the last time I got my nails done I didn’t tip anything. He was rude the whole time, tried to over charge me by an entire $20, and then he cut six of my fingers when he was shaping them with the e-file and made them bleed. They ended up turning out misshapen and chunky. So yeah. He didn’t get a tip.

i get a fill every 2 weeks for $15 and i tip $5, but i know them well by now for going in so often. if i didn’t go to my regular place, i’d at least tip 20% of the service.
