Any girl moms feeling pressure to pierce their baby’s ears? It seems so silly to me to poke new holes in her body to make her prettier or to define her as girl for the sake of others. (I do understand she’ll probably want them later & she won’t remember the pain now.) I kind of feel that it’s a right of passage when you choose when to do it for yourself. I was five, and I felt like such a big girl that day! Ok enough rambling, what’s the point of this? Anyone else feeling pressure to do this? How do you kindly express that you’re waiting without sounding judge-y about their choice not to wait?
