Labor Approaching???

Hi ladies!  So I lost my mucus plug at 36w4d . The next say I was experiencing cramps so I went to the hospital , I was 3 centimeters dilated but of course they sent me home.. when you lost your plug, how long was it before you went into labor ? I’m now 37 weeks as of today

Losing your mucous plug doesn’t mean labor is near. You could go into labor in 5 min or in 4 weeks. Doesn’t makes a difference.

I lost my plug and was 3cm and 80% effaced for 3 weeks before my baby came on his actual due date.
Dilation means nothing until you're in active labor unfortunately, consistent strong contractions that stop you in your tracks (you have to concentrate through them, you can't talk through them) and are 3-5 mins apart.
