Finally getting around to posting my delivery story here it goes;

At 39 weeks 6 days I went into labor. All night was having irregular contractions. I thought they was just Braxton Hicks contractions. Told my bf and when he got home that morning from work I decided I was going to straighten my hair. So I’m straightening my hair through my contractions and just dancing it out and my bf keeps telling me that we should really head out to the hospital. Well I managed to finish my hair, and my contractions were still irregular and the pain was manageable, so I kept telling him I didn’t want to go. Well we ended up getting our 2 year old toddler ready and my bf grabbed the hospital bags to put them in the car. I finally said let’s just go to check it out.. well I got to triage around 1pm and when they checked me I was 7.5 CM dilated already! Doctor said I was definitely having my baby today. Well even through contractions I was still smiling and laughing. Around 4pm my doctor broke my water, at 4:30pm my doctor said to let’s try some practice pushes.. well those actually turned into real pushing and by 4:49pm my sweet boy Benjamin Odin Was here! Truly blessed. Second labour and it was as easy and quick as my first son. 💙
