Is it possible to have leftover hcg from loss 2 days after first pp period? Or am I pregnant again?

When I first delivered at 20 weeks 3 days I bled for a little over a week. My bf and I have been intimate since. I know we should've waited till 6 weeks but things happen. Anyways at a lil over 5 weeks postpartum I got my 1st period although it was shorter than usual but still had a day of heavy flow... Well I felt off so decided to take a test 2 days after ending period and both are positive. Is it possible to have left over hcg after period from loss? Or am I early pregnant

Likely a new pregnancy. Women are very fertile after losses.

I’ve had left over hcg for 2 or 3 months after periods, and had positive test. I’d say go see your doctor for a blood test.

My HCG levels took almost 2 full months before they were completely 0 after I had my missed mc. So theoretically it could be left over hcg if it’s at least 5.  I would call your OB and ask for a quant hcg to see if it’s a new pregnancy or tiniest bit left over. Good luck!!!!

I just miscarried a few months back. My hcg was at 0 before my period came back at 5 weeks after miscarriage. Soooo I personally don't see how you could still have left over hcg once your period came? Tho anything can hapoe happen. Though that was my experience. Maybe you should keep testing to see if it fades or lines get darker.
