i never went to preschool and tbh i don’t see the point lol. it’s not like i’m super stupid or anything. i was in ap english 🤷‍♀️😂

Schooling especially at a young age is so very important. It build social skills along with other skills. I have a degree and have worked as a preschool teacher. I learned so much I didn't know prior.

Let us also not forget that many of us have to work lol. Homeschooling couldn’t even be an option!

I went to preschool AND was taught from home 😂😂 It was definitely a little extra of my parents, but I think preschool is great! It helps build social and intellectual skills, and it’s great for parents who work! I learned some more advanced things at home (I grew up around mostly adults so I grew up a little bit faster) which helped because the stuff that was being taught wasn’t challenging at the time (it definitely got challenging tho 😂). So i think preschool is perfect! But if you have a child that is a bit ahead, you could always get some at home things as well (as my parents did).

I personally went to preschool and it had a big impact on my school performance later down. I never had anything lower than a B in elementary.

I would send them to PreK. My parents did, and it helped my brother and me so much, especially as first generation Americans. Despite not speaking complete sentences of English until 3.5 years old, we were reading chapter books by kindergarten. They taught us basic social/communication skills. They taught us multiplication and division (yes they did that in PreK). Almost every child who went to my preschool is in the gifted program and enrolled in all of the advanced classes. I say “my preschool” because most other preschools in my town didn’t push the children to actually learn. They were more like daycares than preschools. If I can find a preschool like the one I went to when I have a child, I will definitely enroll them, despite the high cost.
