Constipated baby?

Lately my son has been grunting and crying a lot, arching his back and his poops have been less runny (more paste-like) than normal. He refuses to eat his bottles sometimes. It's been like this for about 3 days. Anyone have tips?

My daughter was constipated yesterday and today,  i assume from starting oatmeal and baby food. I put an oz of prune juice in her bottle and gave her some water with her oatmeal and squash. Also did a warm bath, gently massaged her belly clockwise. She got 2 poops out then but they were hard, the poor thing.

Prune juice or pureed prunes all the way. We've had to do it since 2 months. Even with a formula switch she still struggles. Prunes help so much. She was having solid poops and now we are back to mushy. She was miserable trying to go and I felt awful for her. Pediatrician said it's totally fine to keep doing this too.
