Am I wrong for being annoyed?

Question

My boyfriend lets his 3 1/2 year old sleep in bed with us sometimes 😤 don’t get me wrong.. I don’t dislike kids— I too have a 3 1/2 year old that SLEEPS IN HIS OWN ROOM/BED 
I am starting to get annoyed with it. His son will legit cry and scream until he gives in and we all three end up sleeping in bed together /: ugh lol
My son and I are moving in soon and our sons will be sharing a room with a bunk bed... I’m worried his son will still do this lmao. 
Advice? 
Should I be annoyed like I am?

If it annoys you that bad, you might want to reconsider moving in.

Yes I would be annoyed! Your partner needs to set rules in place.. otherwise the older that child gets the worse his behaviour will get... and the more annoyed you’ll become. You both need to talk through it and work together to improve the situation... then stick to the pattern of sleeping in his own bed. Don’t let anyone tell you you shouldn’t be annoyed by this... at the end of the day its your partners lack of discipline that’s upsetting you. Hope it improves quickly!

I can't see the issues at all in sometimes having your kid in the bed. Depends on what sometimes is but it's not every night.
Does he live with his son or does he have him part time? Maybe the kiddo just needs his dad 🤷🏻‍♀️
Might wanna talk about it and find a solution you can both live with before moving in.

I’m very annoyed with it too. His daughter is 5 and whines about everything. Usually he’d give in and she realized that’s how she can get her way. He’s gotten better about getting on to her about whining to get her way. Just talk to him privately. I told him when I stay with him she’s to sleep either on a pallet or on the couch. I don’t mind it sometimes but our bed is a full size and she likes to kick and sleep sideways and I cannot deal with it not to mention it’s hot. I love that little girl to death. But the bed is ours. Especially when I only see him on the weekends because of our jobs.

Breaking that habit is so hard, I feel your pain. Lol I would suggest setting clear boundaries and bedtime schedules. I would start by after he falls asleep carry him to his bed. And when he gets up to go to your room just walk him back each time. I know this can be very exhausting and aggravating doing it each time but it really helped me. And if you have to stay in his room until he falls asleep. Consistency is key and positive reinforcement. We finally got my 4 year old daughter to sleep in her own bed every night for this whole month! Hard work pays off!! Good luck!
