HELP tossing and turning baby

My LO sleeps in our room currently because of the following:

She will initially sleep from around 9pm till around 12 just fine. She then starts tossing and turning. She wakes herself just enough to know she doesn't have her pacifier in her mouth anymore, because it fell out. Then back to sleep for maybe an hour in which she tosses and turns and flails her legs. Now. This could go on all night. Sometimes she wakes herself up fully tossing and turning and the second I pick her up she passes out till I put her down. She likes to sleep on her side. I finally give up after a couple wake ups and bring her into bed with us. Sometimes this is better, sometimes she keeps up the tossing and turning. It's like she can't get comfortable or something. I don't know what to do. I tried her in her own room in her crib for a couple weeks. No luck. Any ideas? Tips? I really don't like the cry it out method, but I'm at my wits end and not sure what else to do.
