Anyone familiar with Sacroiliac joint pain?

I had recently some sharp pain in my lower right side of my back / upper butt area. I did a little research and came up with the sacroiliac joint. I read it may flare up durning pregnancy. Anyone else have this issue? If so what did you do about it?

I did during my first pregnancy. I saw a physical therapist who gave me a list of exercises to do at home, and a belly support band. The support band made a world of difference for me!

Mine is happening, and for some reason I think mine started because I’ve been doing weird maneuvering around our dog kennel in our bedroom every night and day to get into our bathroom.  It still hurts, just been taking it easy.  Might be okay to take Tylenol, also read from expanding uterus as well, wasn’t very positive on future pains in that area if you already have it.

I didn't during pregnancy, but I'm a runner & did have an issue with it during my college career. Physical therapy to aid with mobility can help a lot-- that's what I got. Possibly your OB could prescribe you some PT if it becomes an ongoing issue, but you could Google & see what you can find in terms of at-home stretching or exercises for SI joint mobility.
