I got my belly button pierced about a year ago, and it’s been healing great. I just got back from a 2 week vacation in the Bahamas and since then I believe it’s gotten infected. I worry something in the water could’ve caused this but idk. It burns a little, it’s a bit swollen and puss is coming out of it and earlier there was dried blood coming out. It’s not red or anything. There’s no smell. I’ve been taking out the jewelry once a day to clean it out then put it back in but how do I know when I should just take it out?
