Bassinet or crib?

I live in a small one bedroom apartment. Will the baby be ok sleeping in his crib initially? I’m getting a mini crib. Or will I need to get a bassinet first and then get a crib later?

The reason most people don't have newborns sleep in a crib at first is because they don't want/can't fit a crib in their room since it's recommended to have baby in your room for at least 6 months. You can 100% safely have baby in the crib from birth.

I’m doing a mini crib from birth in my room because I didn’t want to buy two things, and we don’t have a room for her to move into with a full size crib. She’ll be in our room until she’s old enough to share a room with big sister.

Baby can sleep in their crib right from the start. 
We have both a Moses basket and cot bed because the cot bed is set up in the nursery and the Moses basket is in our room.

Mini crib is fine. Bassinet isbonly needed if crib will not be in the same room.

My daughter hates a Bassinet/Moses basket so we used a crib from birth which is 100% safe as long as empty

I live in a one bedroom apartment so for now we’re getting a mini crib but I ordered a bassinet from Walmart for like $35 because it has wheels so I’ll roll that closer to the bed at night or into the living room area.

Crib, baby will be fine. Babies grow out of stuff quick so I would just go with the crib

A crib is fine. Just be aware that it might seem really big and scary for a baby who is used to everything being tight.
We used a lift in the crib at first because my daughter didn't like it..
