I recently switched from Nexplanon to Lo Loestrin and I am having severe depression. Like suicidal kind of severe. I think i need to stop taking it.

Yes, and severe anxiety also. To the point that I was having panic attacks on a regular basis. When you switch, be sure not to get on a generic version because my doctor who didn’t believe me just put me on a different version of the same pill.

Omg I was having anxiety and depression (thought it was hormonal) my doctor subscribed me this birth control to help! It got severely worse didn’t think it was from the birth control until now! I also gained 20-30 pounds as well. I stopped taking this over a year ago as I’m ttc but I would advise anyone to not take this birth control!

Yes! I bled everyday for 4 months, and gained 20 pounds on that birth control! It made me very depressed and have severe mood swings. I didn’t feel like myself at all and had to stop taking them!

Not that, but got that way on the mini-pill.  Stop and seek other treatment if stopping doesnt ease the symptoms.  Being suicidal is serious and terrifying!
