It’s been a rough day. Daddy is gone for a week, and is currently boar hunting in the Everglades. He forgot his phone at home, and I am guessing his brother doesn’t have cell reception where they are, because I can’t get a hold of anyone.

Our 4 month old daughter is suffering from a cold right now. She is being a hot mess and won’t let me put her down. We got about 13 hours of heavy rain last night through this morning, causing the basement to flood. I can’t deal with the flood because my daughter won’t let me put her down. I have been throwing towels on it, but I am out of towels. It’s going to continue to rain today and the next two days.

The laundry needs folding, dishes need done, I have two rooms to paint, an oil change to get, a car to register, shopping to do. Sigh. I feel like I am drowning.

I wish I could get a hold of my SO, though he would probably just be disappointed because I am not handling things well. 😞
