When can I have a bath postpartum ?

I’m just over 2 weeks postpartum. Vaginal delivery with no tears, I’ve obviously been showering but is it safe to have an actual bath?

My doctor said not at all for 6 weeks even with a healthy birth, but you can call and check.

I had a bath the day I got home 😂 and I tore, I used Epsom salts too. I didn’t know you weren’t meant to lol

I was told to take baths right when I got home to help with swelling and soreness. Epsom salt baths were amazing and helped me heal so quickly.

At the hospital I had to take one literally as soon as I was done being stitched up, they told me also get as it was just water and no soap/bubble baths it's was fine until I had been cleared, I was cleared at 10 days pp

I’m 2 weeks PP tomorrow and my doctor told me today that a bath is perfectly fine 🙌🏼
