Anyone know how to stop this from happening? Or a kids tablet I can buy? My son does not watch TV. I on occasion let him watch learning/baby songs on my tablet. But when I hand it to him, he clicks everything and exits on accident all the time.

But my daughter and niece have a Amazon tablet for children and it's strictly everything kid kid YouTube kid everything but if you don't want to buy that you can just download Kid YouTube but even then I think this is a habit that you can easily break early and let me tell you now having a nine-year-old it's way harder to break it then

There’s an app called Loo Loo kids that has the popular children animation and songs. It has a quick lock feature so it stays playing whatever you press save for the lock button.

It's totally normal for kids to get addicted to changing sounds and bright colors. If you'd rather him be disconnected dont give it to him, instead get him cd's with songs on it that you can play on the radio or something.

If you have a smart TV, you can just have him watch exactly what he’s watching on the tablet - but it’d be on the TV and he wouldn’t be able to click on thing. 
Or if you don’t have a smart TV, just pick a program that provides education on a regular TV. Developmentally it doesn’t matter which screen he’s watching, it’s still a screen (if that’s what you’re worried about).

My baby brother learned everything he knows on YouTube at the age of 3 he can count sing his Abc’s he knows his colors and his shapes. He can work just about any device you give to him . He wears Bright Green glasses and he rocks them !♥️🥰
