Casually bringing pregnancy up at work

Cat

This might sound ridiculous as I will be 24 weeks tomorrow, but there are still a lot of people in my office who don't know I'm pregnant. My bosses/the people who matter know, but everyday I feel so awkward because I feel huge, and think everyone else must just think I'm eating too much ice cream.

I just got a promotion to a different department (still know everyone) where the end of my training lines up with basically my 38th week. Other people wanted this position, so I'm just so scared that my co-workers are going to be upset that the company is training me to do this thing that I'm not going to be doing for 4 months right after I get the hang of it. Also, it just feels so late where they'll be like, You're this pregnant and you're only telling us now?

The office is also very masculine. There is one other woman in my new department. Otherwise it's a "boys' club".

Does anyone struggle to bring up their pregnancy in conversation with acquaintances? Or maybe I shouldn't care and just walk around with my belly out loud and proud and dare someone to make a comment on it 😂
