Yes! I have had keloids go away, but it’s not common- my BFF gets them easily and they turn into scars for her. You may want to switch to a higher quality metal or thinner bar if you want to try to save the piercing. Don’t touch or play with it, and salt water is your friend!

When did you have it done? I had the exact same thing but mine healed. Mine was just where it was healing. 
Also you might have a metal allergy to then metal in the bar. Try using a hypoallergenic plastic one and keep bathing it in salt water and see what happens that’s what healed mine as I didn’t want to take it out😌

Yes it is ! Unfortunately i tried everything i removed the belly ring and applied everything known to man and it still formed a keloid! Had surgery and the doctor removed it and it came back so now i have a ugly belly button ;( and it makes me sad cause i wont be able to show off my pregnant belly whenever that happens ;(
