Hi all,

I am new to the community, and we have just started ttc, but, as we all do, I want to be as prepared as I can be for welcoming our little one(s) into this world. Specifically, as a white woman having children with a black man I am looking for resources to help me be the best mom I can be to children who will experience life very differently than I did (and still do). I have no interest in pretending to know what they will go through, but I still want to be able to offer the best/most support and guidance as a parent as I possibly can, so I’m looking to educate myself as much as possible. Interested in everything that is pertinent, whether it’s advice on dealing with outright racist attacks, learning to do my daughters’ hair properly, handling the “are they yours” type questions...all of it.
