Does Emersyn flow well with Wyatt?

We are expecting our first daughter and every time I say Wyatt + Emersyn, I’m not totally convinced that’s her name. I feel like I’m saying two boy names and I do know that it is a unisex name. Just need some opinions!

I know a lot of people say it's a unisex name or that "spelling it with a 'y' makes it feminine", personally I don't buy into that at all. You can't hear in interchanging of the 'y' when you say it and it just sounds like a guy's name to me. That being said if you really like it for your daughter then name her that, and if you really like the way it looks with a y then do that too but honestly i really don't think placing a y in there makes it feminine at all and it does not sound feminine period to me but that doesn't mean it's a bad name but i would be at least 90% sure you love the name, ya know?

I said yes, before reading your paragraph. It does flow together "Emersyn and Wyatt" but I did think it was 2 boys.

I voted before reading the whole thinh. I thought you meant naming your son Emersyn Wyatt. I personally don't like when a letter is changed to a y. But it also sounds like a boy name. When I hear people say Emerson I assume its a boy. 🤷 but she's your baby. So if you like it go for it. 😊

I just don't really like Emersyn. It will always sound masculine to me. 
Ivy is so beautiful and classic, whereas Emersyn is very trendy and more modern. 
Definitely go with what feels right. Don't let family (or our opinions here) pressure you into a choice you won't be happy with.

It is a unisex name. A little boy can be named Emerson. But the Y makes it feel more feminine.
