Formula Switch.. Did I Do The Right Thing? (UPDATE)
I’m starting to feel like a failure and doubt my decision.
My then 5 week old baby was throwing up, spitting up, having painful gas. I felt so bad and the doctors wouldn’t give me any advice other than what I’d been doing.
I switched her to the sensitive formula on Monday. She hasn’t thrown up or spit up since!! But for the last 2 days she hasn’t pooped and her gas still seems painful. Her tummy doesn’t feel swollen, though.
I know it takes a minute to adjust to the new formula, and I got her gas relief drops to help. But I’m worried about her🥺
Plus, she’s been awake all day the last 2 days and not taking naps. She cries and cries and it’s killing me because I know she’s uncomfortable, but also because I have a lot of important things I need to do and can’t with a screaming baby.
I’m alone in this. My fiancé is preoccupied with other things that need to get done. I’m so tired. So overwhelmed. I need some advice.
UPDATE:
She pooped! Enough to fill a whole diaper!
