Anyone have spotting at 18+5?

Ugh! With a history of miscarriage I just don’t ever want to see spotting, but I’ve had it the past two days. Very light and brown in color. Have not had sex or an exam. Luckily I have an at home Doppler and found his heartbeat right away, but I still can’t help worrying! Anyone else in the same boat??

I've had three miscarriages and I'm 21 weeks pregnant with my third child. Spotting always scares the crap out of me, and it's usually the first sign I'm loosing a pregnancy. It's not always the case though. Last week I spotted out of nowhere, no sex, or exam either. I asked my OB to check me, sure enough I had a bad UTI, which can cause preterm labor is untreated. I was told to drink tons of water, rest more with feet up, and no sex until spotting stops. Good luck

I had some dark brown discharge at around 18 weeks that freaked me out as I also have a history of miscarriage. It went away after a couple days and everything was fine. My doctor said as long as it’s not red blood and no cramping then it’s normal ... said it could be hormonal changes. Hope that helps!

I did with my loss at 17 weeks. My situation was very different and there was no heartbeat, she had actually passed several weeks before. I would mention it to your OB, but if it is brown, and baby has a heartbeat, it is probably nothing.
