So my husband is currently in the military and is away from home. I am a cop so I make pretty good money. Lately I have been working extra hours to stay busy and to make extra money to save up for a house and to pay off all of my debt. We have a financial system where we decide who pays what. So yesterday he asked how much money I needed so our bills got paid. Well I texted and told him, and then I accidentally fell asleep . I woke up to every -single-bill paid in full. Not only that, but he sends me $1,000 asking me to not pick up any shifts and to give my body a break!!!!

I’m like omg, so now I have extra money from not having to pay bills(rent, car note, car insurance, cable, etc) but he sent me extra money. he supports me paying off my debt ASAP (student loans, credit card) and he knows that since he has been gone majority of my check is going towards paying off my debt. (I’m 24 years old& I refused to be in any debt by 27 years old except a mortgage. )

I asked him what I should do with the money, he said do whatever u want. So I told him how I’m paying my debt, putting it into savings. And he said that sounds good but to treat myself as well
