Anyone else not walking yet?

My little man is 15 months and still refuses to walk. I say refuses because I know he can, he just won’t. I had him in the pool about a month ago and he got to the point that it was too deep to crawl so he stood up and walked to the edge. Anything I can do to encourage him to walk more?

My daughter!  She is 14 months and LOVES walking if you hold her hands, but collapses as soon as you let go.  She is my latest walker.
I don’t think that pediatricians worry until 18 months...if that helps at all.
Our kids liked to walk with push toys.  Although, my daughter was pushing anything but toys - stools, chairs, laundry baskets (I think she liked the extra friction).
The other thing...if your child is really good at other skills - for example has a big vocabulary- that might explain the late walking a bit.  Kids sometimes focus on a skill and all the other skills get tables until the skill with the focus gets mastered.

My daughter really just started walking and she’s about 16 months, before that it was nothing. She would crawl everywhere. It really helped her if she was holding something in both hands so it gave her comfort and the confidence to walk without holding out hands. And now she’s running around the house. And less than a month ago she wouldn’t walk without holding our hands and would drop as soon as we’d let go

My son is 14 months and isn’t walking yet either. He did have Clubfoot when he was born so it’s a little different but I swear he knows how to as well he just wont

My daughter just started walking on the 16th just shy of 14 months. She could walk but refused. We held her hand (only one) to encourage balance and just kept at it and one day she said this is it. I'm walking today!
