My doctor recommended that we watch it because it shouldn’t go above 3-4. Mine was at 7 and I was border line about to be put down with hypothyroidism. When the levels are too high it means it is under active. I still got pregnant tho I just went on medication for it. Now my levels are sitting nicely at a 2.4.

High, my doctor said it should be between 2 and 4 . 
When I didn’t take my thyroid medicine for a few months, my level was at 286 lol. The highest my doctor has ever seen .

both REs I’ve been to want the thyroid below 2.5 for TTC.  not sure what your doctor’s parameters are, but that was my experience.

Total t4 looks good. Did they test your tsh?
