Every time my husband is around my family, he gets on his phone. He will either listen to videos out loud, or sometimes put his headphones in. We include him in conversations, ask him questions, etc, but he always ends up on his phone. It makes me cringe, as I find it incredibly rude. I don’t do that around his family. I have tried talking to him about it, but he continues doing it. I even text him in the moment sometimes and ask him to please join us.

Does his behavior come off to rude as others?
