The name Colter

We are having a baby boy this November and have been struggling with names!

What do you guys think of the name Colter or Coulter? We like Colt as a nickname and wanted something a little different than Colton. I like the slightly southern or rustic vibe it has but I’m afraid people will think it sounds made up.

We don’t have a middle name but last name begins with a G.

Thanks for any advice or opinions! I appreciate all honesty. The struggle to pick a good name for your baby is real!
