Television news is toxic, often sensational nonsense. I can do without the sound bites, and every day that I don’t hear Trump’s word vomit is a god send. 
I read the news every day, but my favorite is reporting done on a weekly deadline and other long form journalism. Weekly deadlines leave more time for writers to really report on an issue.

I only see the news on fb since i like/follow them and ugh it upsets me most the times. Too much sadless especially with children being hurt.
