My mom watches my daughter 5 days/week while SO and I work. Today we had my daughter's 1st bday party. Baby's other grandma (SO's mother) was there too.

Since my mom was hosting the party at her house, she was busy and didn't get much of a chance to hold my daughter. Toward the end of the party, I said to my mom that i felt bad she hadn't had much of a chance to hold her and she could visit with her more as soon as the party was over. To this, she responded, "Yea, don't feel bad. I get kind of jealous when Nancy (SO's mom) holds her and they bond with each other but I get to see her 5 days a week so it's ok."

What would you think about that? Isn't that kind of strange that my mother gets jealous about that? It's good for my daughter to bond with all of the family....
