Does putting your LO to bed early really help with early risers?
I've heard of this theory where putting your LO to bed earlier can help with early morning risers and allow your LO sleep longer. Is this really true?
I put my LO to bed around 8pm by that I mean he's bathed, fed and in his crib by 8pm.
For the past few weeks he's been waking at 5:30am.
I've read a lot from takingcarababies and she says anytime before 6am to treat that waking like a middle of the night waking as the appropriate time for babies to wake at this age is 6-7, ideally 7am she said. She also said, putting them to bed earlier would extend their sleep and mend the early morning rising.
Anyone have experience with an early riser and if so, what helped fix this
Please understand, I am in no way complaining about my LO's sleep - I'm grateful he sleeps from 8pm until then. But I do know he needs more sleep because he's exhausted and overly tired.
Any help, advice, experience etc would be much appreciated!
