Good sign that HCG levels are rising?

I’m 5 weeks and 1 day. Is this a good sign that my hormones are in the right levels?

Answer

I think after a certain point, the at home tests aren’t a good indicator that levels are getting higher. The blood hcg tests are the best way to see if they’re doubling in 48 hours. If your doc didn’t order the blood tests then they not concerned about your levels rising which is a good thing. The best indicator of a viable pregnancy is the ultrasound either way. As nerve wracking as it is, we just gotta wait and see. I say we because I’m in the same boat waiting for my scan at 6w4d.

From my understanding hcg hits a peak in pregnancy then starts decreasing afterwards.
