Journey on getting back into shape
I recently started getting serious about losing weight and i can say this is the most dedicated I’ve ever been. My weight has been up and down since i got married. Me and my husband renewed our vows in May of last year and i shed a few pounds, but after that the weight got put back on..due to depression and stress. When we went on our cruise in December when i saw the photos i was like wow i put on so much weight and even after that i didn’t get serious about losing the weight. I joined a gym again in June and i have been there at least 5-6 days out the week since then...I’m still pushing to lose at least 20-30lbs. But this is the most dedicated I’ve ever been. I think one of the issues i use to have is not having someone to workout with and ppl staring at me..lol . Now,,,I’m like a partner will slow me down and nobody’s paying me an attention in this gym lol. I workout mon-fri, (Wednesday being my rest day) at the gym then on Saturdays I’ll do the bridge (it’s about 2 miles if i do half, there and back and 5 miles for the full bridge) ;cooper river bridge in Charleston. And some Sunday’s I’ll walk in my neighborhood and do a home work, I also consume more water products now and don’t eat fried foods and cut out my soda intake. (I only drink ginger ale if I do have a soda)I’m still pushing hopefully this motivates others
