Umbilical granuloma?
My sons stump came off at 9 days old. It was still open slightly on the bottom and was oozing green. The doctor informed it was normal. It just fell off early. I kept it clean and dry and about a week later his belly button closed up. So far so good right? One night I was changing his diaper and his belly button was opened and had a lump of “skin” pressing out about a quarter inch and his belly was looking funny(I’ll attach photos). Took him into the doctor in the morning and they used silver nitrate saying it was an umbilical granuloma and that his stomach is normal, that ever infants stomach is like that. I have never seen a babies tummy like this unless they had a hernia. The lump gets bigger when he eats and when I touch it he seems uncomfortable. The first photo is the lump in his stomach and his granuloma. The second photo is two days after silver nitrate.
