Anybody willing to share their story about having an endometrioma (aka chocolate cyst) removed? I have a fairly large one on my left ovary, and will be scheduling surgery soon, but I'm really nervous about it (never had surgery before). Did your pain/symptoms improve? How long did it take to recover after surgery? Did anything come back? Were you able to have children after? Whatever you're willing to share, I'd love to hear! I'm having a hard time finding somebody who has had a chocolate cyst, and am hoping to hear from those who have gone through this.
