Glass of wine a day?

Do any mamas have a glass of wine a day? I was told that having a glass a day actually helps with your milk supply. I do love wine and totally would have a glass a day but not sure if that would honestly be bad for my LO. What do you mamas think?

Wine won't boost your supply, beer will because of the hops.
If you're good to drive, you're good to breastfeed since the alcohol cycles out of your milk just like your bloodstream.
I would feed my baby, indulge in a drink, and by the time they wanted to nurse again I would be clear to do so

Honestly the best way to keep your milk up is water, I feel like the alcohol in wine would dehydrate you. But as long as you’re drinking water & sober enough to drive it’s perfectly safe to nurse babe! Enjoy that wine mama! 🍷

It shouldn't have any effect on your LO. As long as you feel sober enough to drive then you're sober enough to nurse, alcohol leaves your breastmilk like how it leaves your blood stream.

It’s a myth, it doesn’t actually help with supply... alcohol is dehydrating and even the hops in beer isn’t going to help.  That said, I have whatever sounds good.  I find it relaxes me and that has to be good for supply!  Especially if I get a few minutes to myself while I drink it (occasionally hubby will watch kids and I take my beverage in a bubble bath, which is heaven!).  Drink it if you want, don’t go crazy, but don’t expect it to help supply :). One glass of wine or one beer will certainly not harm baby!

The burnoff is equal to that of your blood, so if you're not buzzed, baby won't be either. One glass is totally fine.
