Cost of injectables?

I did Letrozole 5mg, then 7.5mg and failed both times. How much are injectables and how did you afford them? I’m terrified of the cost and going farther into debt 😞

For three gonal f 300 pens, it was $2100 through insurance (but i have a high deductible plan, so that was full adjusted price).

totally depends on the dose.  mine ranged from 4-5k each time. when I was going to do IUI, they were only gonna be about $2500ish because it was a lower dose.  but before worrying yourself, id get all the info (dosage, etc) then shop around, find discounts...  ❤️

We used Mandells pharmacy. They run a discount program based on income. Our fertility clinic is who recommended it. They mail you all of your injectibles. It was the cheapest place we found for ovidrel if you are using that also. Our insurance paid for nothing so we were always on the hunt for any help we could get.

I also tried the higher doses of letrozole and failed. I moved to injectables with iui, of which the meds were a couple thousand or so, but also the frequent need for monitoring ultrasounds while using injectables made things much more expensive very quickly. I had to have several ultrasounds with injectables, each 300 out of pocket

We were some of the lucky few that IVF stim meds are covered by insurance. We got the $27,000 quote and paid $250 out of pocket. Since my body didn’t respond to most, I had to take a growth hormone that was $900 for 5 days and was the only thing not covered..
