Treasure the Moments
On Friday, I experienced the scariest moment in my life. I was in a serious accident and have had to have surgery on my wrist because of how badly broken it is.
But to me the scariest part was that, not 5 minutes before, I dropped my son off at my moms house. He is my life and I don’t know what it would’ve been like if he had been in the car with me. To think he could have been with me in that car keeps me up at night.
He knew something happened too. After I called my mom, my son started playing with the toy ambulance at her house. That is his cousin’s toy and he never plays with it. He is only a year and a half old but he knew mommy had been hurt.
And he has been so careful and clingy with me. I treasure these moments with him and hold him just a little bit closer each day because of it.
