This is my second pregnancy, I am now 38weeks and the plan has been to try for a VBAC. But at 21 weeks I was diagnosed with pelvic varices(varicose veins surrounding my uterus) SUPER painful. They’ve gotten a lot more painful as I’ve gotten bigger and for some reason I started having regular, consistent contractions since 37 weeks. They have literally not stopped since they started, every 7-9 mins but no cervical change. I’m in a lot of pain, so much that on bad days I can barely move and when I have to I walk like a cripple. I’ve been considering asking for a repeat csection on Friday when I’m 39 weeks but I am so conflicted bc I REALLY wanted to have a vaginal birth. I feel like I’m not only letting myself down by considering it but also that I’m being incredibly selfish by opting to have surgery since vaginal birth is supposed to be more beneficial to the baby. I’m so conflicted on what to do. I need advice please! Help me make the best decision.
