Is the morning afterpill abortion? I don’t think it is but my friends disagree.

Plan B is just a dose of progesterone. Birth Control is progesterone and estrogen.  The progesterone delays ovulation so there is no egg for the sperm to meet. It also increases cervical mucus so it is harder for the sperm to swim. And because of the hormone it could induce a period so your period could start sooner than normal. If you are pregnant and take the morning after pill, nothing happens because... PROGESTERONE PROMOTES GESTATION. So it wont hurt the baby.

You take Plan B immediately after sex, nothing has happened yet, and you can’t be considered pregnant immediately after sex...
Plan B stops ovulation from happening so there is no egg to fertilize and you can’t get pregnant.
