How long each session?

My baby is 1 week old today. 
I just decided I exclusively pump for sanity reasons... but my question is how long should each pumping session be? 
In the hospital, when I was trying to breastfeed and pump, they told me to pump for 15 minutes after each nursing session. But now that I’m not nursing, should I continue just 15 minutes every 3 hours? Or should the length of the session increase?

Everyone's milk production is a little different. I recommend at least 20 minutes 4 times a day after spending a lot of time with lactation consultants. If you want higher production pump for 30 minutes 5+ times a day.

I do 30 minutes 4-5 times a day. Typically every 3.5 hours between each session.

My typical pumping session is haakaa on one side, pump on the other with massaging for 10 minutes,  then swap and do the same thing on the other sides for another ten minutes. (I would love to pump both sides at the same time but my pump doesn't produce enough suction to manage it) if I have extra time, I'll do the same thing except for 5 minutes each right after the first set.

I've heard if you feel the need to go over 20 min when pumping often to take a five minute break before continuing for the sake of your body.
